Untitled Queen Performing "I Found a Dead Fox" (Mary Oliver)
A favorite and stunning poem by Mary Oliver. I love her thoughtful, curious, and deep looking at nature, animals, death, meaning. Seemingly very simple at first to witness a dead fox on the side of a road, but becomes an unanswered query as to what, how, and why we die, and the joyful tenderness of an animal's final posture "to look back out into the world".
